It's almost time to kickoff our rec season for 2022.

Registration has closed but we still have space in out 8U Coach Pitch, and 10U divisions.  Please email us to register at halfmoongirlssoftball@gmail.com

We wanted to send out a couple of updates for planning.  While activities will not pickup until after Spring Break, we are preparing our fields and getting things ready for the season.  

What to expect

Our rec league will be on Saturdays and Wednesdays.  Our youngest ages (8U/Coach Pitch and 10U) will play at home each Wednesday and Saturday.  Our 12 and up division will also have games against other nearby leagues, still on Saturdays and Wednesdays.  Games will be at home and away in the 12 and up division.  Your coaches will start to communicate with you directly once the season begins.  We may add additional days as the season progresses as makeups for rain outs.

Our Rec League will not be active on Saturday 5/28 for Memorial Day weekend.

The final day of Rec will be Saturday 6/11.

On Saturdays we will begin at 9:30 am with practice.  Games will follow around 10am.

On Wednesdays we will practice beginning at 5:30 with games following around 6pm.

Uniform Pickup Night

We will distribute uniform shirts on Wednesday 4/27 from 6-7pm.  Please stop by the fields to pickup shirts and meet some of our coaches.  

Opening Day

Saturday 4/30 - Opening Day - Starts at 9:30am with practice activities.  Our opening day ceremony will be at 10am followed by games.  

Softball Equipment

Each player should have their own glove, bat, and batting helmet.  We also strongly recommend a softball fielding mask for safety.  The league will provide catching equipment to our older levels. 

Picture Day

We will also have a rec picture night.  Date TBD.  More info to come on this.

Coaching Volunteers

A big factor in the success of our rec league is having enough volunteers to coach and assist with teams.  If you are interested in helping out - please attend our Coaches Meeting at our fields on Wednesday 4/13 at 6:30pm.
